It means not to bottle up your emotions. The way I see it, we can only take a certain amount of pressure before blowing up. Almost like a tube or tyre or something. Those are wise words though, we always feel better after talking about something. Sometimes guilty or bad, but good in the end. The only problem with talking is that the words can lead to various outcomes, some unexpected. As the saying goes, “the pen is mightier than the sword” but the word is more direct and in your face, nothing you can do about it.
