Have you ever looked at your shadow and wondered if it is the same person down there? Like its really you...

Today I took a look at my shadow and it seemed different, like it was not mine, or more like it was not me. This got me thinking, are we our shadows, or is it possible for our shadows to be our true selves? (Strange as it may sound)

Friend or Acquaintance?

So the other day I had lunch with an old high school friend of mine and was very surprised to notice that there is a vast level of maturity if being compared to my other friends...

The quality of conversation is also totally different to that of the people that I normally am with. Makes me wonder if real true friends are found at school level or after school... Probably depends on the individual...

Next time when you in a conversation, just take a second to think if that is your friend or just an acquaintance...

How would you know the difference, Friends Actually Care...

Is it still there...?

Does passion still exist? You know, like when you have a passion for something like music, or dancing or anything??? Because it seems to me that we are losing it.

Nobody does things because they have a passion for doing it. Either (1) money is involved (2) you guilt-tripped into doing it or (3) you just going with the flow.

What happened to passionate people? Those should be role-models....

I guess people don't follow there passions anymore as it is not accepted by society? Just imagine telling your parents, "Mom, dad. I want to be an actor when I finish high school." or "When i finish school i want to be a dj." You will either get the speech about how you gonna make a living bla bla bla etc etc etc, or one of those other clichès that I don't wanna get in to... They stupid, partially realistic, but stupid. It is quite sad that our norm has become Primary School ---> High School ---> University, Somewhere in there we want something different.

Passions vary aswell.

Our passions are what separates us really as humans. This is what we strive for.

Hopefully alls well that ends well, with or without passion...

I wonder...

This is something that has been on my mind for a while...

Have you ever noticed, whenever you are honest or realistic with a person it is at that current point in time considered rude. Yet they have asked for your honesty, or that is what they expect from you...

Have we become so accustomed to sugar-coating everything that is said or done that if the bare-naked truth is shown to us, we a prone to tag it. But in some sort of a way that is the way life has become... The only place where we can runaway from the truth and it seems relatively normal...

That is just my honest (rude) opinion...

What happened..?

So sticking to the birthday theme...

I remember a time before facebook, mxit and all the other things that our lives revolve around these days. A time when calls were not that expensive, and sms'ing was the ish...

I know we used to stay awake till 12:00 am to see who could wish the lucky person first, or phone you awake just to scream "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!" but as life does, things, actions, words and even people change.

It went from phone calls to sms's. From sms's it went to please-call-me's (that are personalized ofcourse). Then it went to birthday wishes over mxit (and we used to say that was cheap). To what we currently have now, the wall post on facebook, or if you lucky you just might get an inbox message.

I noticed that the people that really mean that much to you as a person are the ones that still stay up late and call at 12:00am, or rather say, they call. I'm trying to say that there is any wrong, but we are human and we know its the simple things go a long way, like a simple phone call.

I guess what I'm trying to say is, with something as simple as your birthday, you'll see who are friends and who are mere aquaintances...

Take off

So today is my 21st birthday and I figured that I want to do something different for change. So i started a blog. I know it might seem as if I'm a bit behind and all but i just never really wanted to.

This is my first post and I'm just typing off the dome. (kinda fun)

I'm a very different guy, definately not the average joe. I'm like a jack of all trades but a master of most if you get what I'm trying to say...

I have a different view point of life, i see, say and hear things very differently so stick around, things will get interesting. ( and stupid at the same time)
